Sullys Saloon

Sullys Saloon was a wedding anniversary/birthday commission. With every commission I take on I ask for some info on whoever I am making It for. Their loves, likes and even dislikes. For this piece I was briefed that the person It was being made for loved the TV series Deadwood, whiskey, his two cats butters and biscuit, reading and writing. He wears a ridiculous jumper that makes him look like Sully from Monsters Inc and he Is an all round stand up guy. 

So this was my interpretation. The diorama was made from wood and hand painted. It could be opened and closed and there was a sky light made In the Saloon roof so under a lamp it acted as a cool night light.
